This Extended Travel CV Axle Assembly is built to handle the real-world abuse Duramax owners put their trucks through, especially leveled and lifted applications. With up to 47° of articulation compared to the factory axle’s ~23°, this axle dramatically reduces bind, stress, and premature failure at increased ride heights.

The thermoplastic elastomer boots provide superior flex-fatigue resistance, excellent tear strength, improved water sealing, and better performance across extreme temperature ranges compared to traditional rubber boots. Internally, upgraded cages, races, and bearings ensure smooth, reliable operation even at maximum articulation—where most factory and aftermarket axles fail.

Unlike competitors that rely on 3-ball designs, this axle utilizes an 8-ball CV joint, distributing load more evenly for increased strength, durability, and long-term reliability. Backed by a Lifetime Warranty, this axle is designed to perform and last.

Notes: 

• Fits both (driver/passenger) sides 
• Optional CV Hardware is factory length - If your truck has a CV Axle Spacer this hardware will NOT work for your application, you must reuse existing hardware
  
• Factory hardware has 15mm heads. Replacement hardware is 17MM head. There may be a clearance issue with some lift kits due to head size increase. It is recommend to utilize the factory hardware with lift kits.
• The Axles Shafts are thicker than stock, this may cause clearance issues on trucks with aftermarket Coilover Shock Lift Kits.
• CV Axle Spacers: You will still need to run them if your truck currently has them installed.
• You will need a 34mm Socket for CV axle nut removal.
• Don't forget to throw on some flashy DmaxStore Valve Stem Caps while under the truck!

• DmaxStore CV axles come with a Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. If a failure occurs, Dmaxstore will replace the failed part only once it has been received at our facility. Shipping costs are not included under the warranty. Some standard wear is not covered.
