DmaxStore has put together this great package for our members to correctly service their Allison transmission.  These kits provide the correct amount of fluid and spin on external filter for 2001-2019 Duramax diesels using standard Allison transmission pans.

Castrol TranSynd 668 is a premium, full-synthetic automatic transmission fluid specifically formulated for Allison Transmission® on-highway automatic transmissions. TranSynd 668 provides oxidative stability, anti-wear performance, and friction durability, as well as TES 668™ specification differentiators such as extended anti-shudder durability and extended clutch friction durability. This fluid features an Allison TES 668 approval. The TES 668 spec is fully backwards compatible for TES 295® applications.

Base Kit includes:

• 2 Gallons of Castrol TranSynd 668 Full Synthetic Fluid, which was specifically designed for the Allison Transmission. We have found this fluid to be far superior and completely compatible with Dexron 3 and Dexron 6.

Notes:

• Standard vs Deep Allison Pan: The Standard Allison Pan will become shallower towards the rear of the transmission, while the Deep Allison Pan will have a flat bottom. Standard Allison pan will take 2 gallons of Transynd, Allison Deep Sump pan will take an extra gallon. Aftermarket Deep Sump Pans will take 2-3 extra gallons depending on what aftermarket pan you have.
• Do NOT let the transmission drain overnight, this can cause all the fluid to drain in the transmission and will require more than just 2 or 3 gallons to do a basic service.
